Meet the Coaches

Eric Schmitt
associate, investment banking
Current role: Eric Schmitt is a finance professional with a varied career in investment banking, hedge fund management and corporate development. For the past three years, he has worked on the Industrials Coverage team at Guggenheim Partners, focusing on investment banking and supporting transactions in the industrials sector.
Prior experience: Prior to Guggenheim, Eric was at Balyasny Asset Management, where he invested in long/short equity industrials, airlines, metals and mining. Earlier, he held corporate development roles at Iron Mountain and Sensata Technologies.
Education: Eric graduated with B.S. in Economics from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts.

Ryan Angelos
director, investment banking
Current role: Ryan is a member of UBS’ global industrials group. He provides M&A and other financial advisory services to clients across multiple verticals within the industrial and business services sectors. Ryan has more than a decade of banking experience advising on M&A, capital markets, and corporate restructuring.
Prior experience: Prior to joining UBS, Ryan was a Vice President at Houlihan Lokey and Barclays where he provided financial advisory services across the industrial, mobility and consumer and retail sectors. Ryan began his a career with JPMorgan as a credit analyst.
Education: Ryan holds a B.S. from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University
